About Sea Chase Naples

The Beginning…

In the early fall of 1990 a new condominium was conceived and slated for construction; ground was to be broken in 1991 and the building completed in October 1992 (1). This new structure on Vanderbilt Beach was to be named Palais Sur La Mer (Palace on the Sea). It was to rise above the Gulf of Mexico and boast 31 luxury units in nine stories. Palais Sur La Mer was, also, to have a “club house, tennis court, optional boat docks, two car garages and designated under-building parking” (2). The boat dockage was to be bayside along with cabanas and a tennis court.

Along the way circumstances changed. The builder failed; the project was assumed by the holder of the note and land owner. The project’s scope and name changed, the year was 1993. Finally completed and receiving a certificate of occupancy in January of 1995 Sea Chase had arrived. The original concept may have been altered but Sea Chase remains arguably to be one of the most dynamic in design and aesthetically pleasing edifices on Vanderbilt Beach. Sea Chase still boasts 31 luxury units along with private, direct beach access, the views are unparalleled and the sunsets unforgettable.

About Sea Chase Naples (Cont.)

And Now…

Sea Chase is a dream destination. Naples is a town of distinction, growing, but still retains that Old Florida feel while incorporating all that might be desired to afford one a most pleasurable stay. You can definitely shop until you drop; we have it all from Saks to Tin City. When you’re hungry or thirsty you’ll have no trouble finding a four star restaurant, café, or wonderful bayside bistro for snack or libation. The outdoor activities are as numerous as one can imagine in a locale that beautiful, sub-tropical weather year round. Golf may be the king sport in Naples, making tennis the prince but the reigning queen is the beach. Miles of beautiful beach abuts the Gulf of Mexico which, of course, cries out to water enthusiast. Fishing, paddle boarding, boating, jet skis, parasailing, scuba diving, kayaking and, of course, swimming is literally at the back door of Sea Chase. Oh, and for the less active minded, you can always grab a book and a beach chair and dip your feet in the Gulf as you await the daily spectacular known as sunset.

Visitors marvel at how neat, clean and well manicured the roadways are here, how friendly the people are and abundant the amenities but that all stems from the pride the locals have in their community. Living in Naples is less a location than a frame of mind. Things are a little slower and traffic in the winter may be a bit heavier but the folks that call Naples home wouldn’t trade it for anywhere else. It is the best Florida has to offer. Thank you for staying with us.
